Oxford Policy Management is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to be part of a developing Accounts Payable team in a busy and fast-paced internal finance department.
We are looking for someone who is proactive, with numerical flair and can work well as part of a team and wider department. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for you to display your numerical and accounting ability and be directly involved in working on the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365, including writing test scripts, testing and training as part of your role.
This role is being offered as a 12 month contract with the possibility of an extension. This role is based in Oxford UK, so where possible, applicants within commutable distance to the office are warmly encouraged. The office currently operates on a hybrid model, so flexible working and a mix of office and home working patterns options may be discussed if offered the role.
Day to day responsibilities will include (not exhaustive):
- Liaising with the Project team on behalf of the AP Manager where they cannot attend meetings
- Writing test scripts
- Performing User Acceptance Testing
- Working with the AP team to ensure that the workflows required in D365 are configured
- Helping with report configuration
- Any other ad hoc tasks that may be required
Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following essential skills, knowledge and experiences:
- Experienced Accounts Payable experience with a full understanding of the end to end AP processes
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience essential
- Level 2 AAT desirable but not essential
- Some experience in a similar role desirable
- Excellent numeracy
- IT Literacy
- Strong ability in Excel
- High degree of accuracy
- Ability to work independently without too much direction as well as being self-motivated and able to work effectively as part of a team with a can do attitude
- Good organisational skills with the ability to use own initiative and take responsibility for important processes
- Able to deal with people at all levels in a professional manner
