Area Cleaning Manager
A new opportunity has arisen for an Area Cleaning Manager covering sites located in the Manchester and Liverpool areas. The company have a supportive management structure and provide support with career progression. A company car is also provided.
Working alongside the Operations Manager, as the Area Cleaning Manager you will:
Take responsibility for the management and development of cleaning contracts within your designated area.
Work with and support the client's and team members in the day-to-day service delivery.
Maximize contract profitability and minimise contract losses through the delivery of a consistently high standard of customer service.
Ensure staff retention, motivation and the development of team members.
Ensure that all additional deep clean work is planned, delivered and audited on completion.
Adhere to all company health and safety policies, procedures and instructions and to confirm their effectiveness through planned health and safety audits and regular reviews.
Inspect the facilities regularly to ensure a high standard of work is maintained.
We are keen to speak to people about this Area Cleaning Manager opportunity with the following skills and experience:
Previous experience as a cleaner, with excellent knowledge of cleaning materials and techniques.
Have a confident, flexible approach and excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and direct cleaning and facilities staff.
Be highly organised with the ability to schedule cover staff where needed.
Previous experience interacting with and communicating with clients.
Full driving licence as travel to sites within the Manchester and Liverpool areas is required.
In return you will receive a salary of circa GBP27,000 pa plus pension and company car.
