Our client a family business, based in Wellington, founded by a father and daughter team within the Financial Services Sector are looking for an Administrator with amazing attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude and willing to get stuck in. The Administrator does not need to have experience within the Financial Services and so an Ideal role for someone looking to develop their knowledge within this field.

Administrator Responsibilities:

  • Working independently using own initiative without being managed
  • To help develop and move the business forward with the business owner
  • Actively help to drive efficiency within the firm e.g. help define processes and improve existing ones
  • Answering the phone and dealing clients and answering straight-forward queries directly
  • Preparation of files for client meetings, including running reports from Intelliflo, producing illustrations, and simple FE Analytics reports
  • Gathering data - submitting letters of authority, chasing up information regularly, and summarising it ready for the Financial Planner/Paraplanner to review

Administrator Requirements:

  • Proven strong Administration Experience
  • Must be self-motivated and comfortable working independently, on own initiative, without needing managing
  • Be happy working on a 1:1 basis - this is a personal role where fit is vital
  • Strong IT skills are essential
  • Whilst not essential, any RO qualifications would be advantageous
