PCS Proposals Development Associate II

Description

Support Business Development in the winning of new business for ICON
Adhere to the proposal process
Attend internal kick-off/strategy meetings to ensure the proposed clinical outcomes assessment strategy (COA) is in line with the overall study strategy
Prepare costs for COA related aspects of a clinical trial and coordinate costs required from 3rd party vendors and other operational functions where required
Prepare appropriate sales strategy text to outline the proposed solution
Coordinate and participate in negotiations and discussions with clients as required
Attend bid defense and other client meetings in a support role when required
Maintain filing and tracking tools in accordance with accepted practices
Comply with ICON administrative, training and human resources policies
Undertake other reasonably related duties as may be assigned from time to time
Ability and willingness to travel at least 5% of the time (international and domestic: fly and drive)

Experience

Equivalent of 2-3 years proposal development experience
Including budgeting and written strategy text
General understanding of the licensing requirements of clinical outcomes assessments in clinical trials desirable
Previous experience in reading/reviewing clinical trial protocols desirable
