HOUSING SUPPORT WORKER – ENGAGE LEEDS TEAM | FULL TIME 37 HOURS PER WEEK / PERMANENT | £26,308
We currently have a Full Time 37 hours per week position to fill on a permanent basis.
Location: Roundhay Road Office, Leeds
We are looking for applicants who have a passion for delivering excellent customer service and enjoy supporting others. Excellent listening, communication and problem solving skills are essential for this role. The successful candidate will deliver housing-related support in a city wide service to prevent homelessness, facilitate sustainment, integration, and promote self-resilience
We are looking for a self-motivated individual to join our Engage Leeds team. As a Housing Support Worker you will work alongside colleagues and partners, managing a caseload delivering housing related support to people at risk of homelessness or require support to sustain their accommodation.

About you:
- Have experience of working in a housing / support environment and understand the issues faced by clients with housing support needs.
- Deliver high quality, customer focused, responsive and accountable support to those accessing the service.
- Be an effective communicator, be able to influence others, work under their own initiative and under pressure.
- Ensure service provision is sensitive to the needs of clients, promote empowerment, self-resilience and respect individual dignity and self-esteem.
- Assist Team Leaders and Engage Leeds partners to develop and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders and local community partners.
