Nightshift Duty Manager - Atria Watford

Purpose of the Role

Offer managerial support & Supervision to the night operation, Providing guidance and supervision of the nightshift environmental, security and control room team.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising and overseeing the night-time operation.
• To Provide guidance, training, and supervision to the night team.
• To be fully conversant with all site & company procedures and policies, ensuring that site assignment instructions are followed and adhered too
• To conduct reviews/Appraisals for personnel under your supervision, identifying training needs and potential for development.
• To ensure the customer service philosophy is achieved within the department and to seek ways of ensuring Team Leaders and Staff deliver consistently high standards.
• To frequently brief and share information with night team and liaise with senior management about any issues/incidents that occur during the night-time economy.
• Ensure that the night operation is operating compliant and inline with H&S regulations and risk assessments
• Managing absence and punctuality, completing return to works and meetings of concern where necessary.
• Monitoring and updating rosters
• Managing Colleague Time & Attendance
• Managing both minor and major incidents as the dependent manager on site.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Customer service background in a retail environment
• Previous experience managing teams in a security / retail environment
• Basic IT Knowledge and skill essential.
• Excellent leadership and motivational skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Ability to use initiative, remain proactive and problem solve.
