CURRICULUM MANAGER - FACULTY OF SUSTAINABLE BUILDING SERVICES

Hours: 37 per week

Salary: GBP40,909- GBP43,322 per annum

The Faculty is proud of our excellent facilities and the quality of our teaching, learning and assessment which serves the needs of industry and delivers qualification in Plumbing, Heating & Ventilation, Electrical, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Gas and Welding

Working with the Head of Faculty, you will contribute to effective curriculum management and the achievement of high standards in student learning, progress towards their goals and work-related outcomes. You will have day to day responsibility for specific curriculum areas, groups of students and the management of staff. It is expected that you will take an active part in introducing and leading new developments and innovation within the wider faculty team.

A proven track record of good or outstanding teaching in construction and the built environment is essential along with a full teaching qualification. Experience of effectively managing staff is desirable and candidates should be able to communicate effectively with adults and young people to ensure a positive impact on their learning and progress.

You should be educated to NVQ level 3 in an appropriate BSE discipline and have relevant industrial experience/knowledge.
