HR Advisor (FTC 6months)
Fixed Term position available for a manufacturing business in Southam.
To provide operational HR support to line managers based on HR policies and processes in line with employment law, to provide management information to the leadership team to assist in business planning and to work on HR projects as appropriate aligned to the business plan.
40 hrs per week Monday to Friday. Part time hours will be considered for the HR Manager position
Would also consider a person with HR Manager or a very expereinced HR Assistant looking for that step up.
HR Advisor key responsibilities include:
Quarterly workforce planning:
Manage employee relations issues with line managers, in line with our disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence and performance policies.
Build trusted relationships with the heads of department.
HR management information reporting:
Manage HR Policies, Procedures, Work Instructions, templates portfolios, ensuring they are kept up to date and accessible
HR Projects
Recruitment, contracts and onboarding process
Payroll and Benefits
Starter, movers & leavers admin:
Employee well being
HR Advisor Skills & Experience
HR experience, both in Recruitment and Generalist HR
Knowledge and application of employment, health and safety law and data protection law
Demonstrable experience in providing an excellent HR internal customer service to heads of department & their management teams
HR systems experience, both as a user, educating the workforce and driving system improvements
Strong data analytical / interpretation abilities Commercial acumen
Desirable
Experience of managing others, setting clear objectives and managing performance
Project management from concept through to delivery
Good knowledge of audit and HMRC tax legislation, relevant UK legislation (Companies Act, bribery & corruption, wages, etc).
