The Team
A large, well-established team of subject specialists delivering a curriculum to a variety of course levels across two campuses. Current specialisms include nursing, early years, care work, end of life, SENCO, and nursery managers etc. We work together with a supportive and encouraging approach, the student experience being at the heart of everything we do. The results we achieve for our students and the reputation we have built in the community are both outstanding.
The Role
The role will entail flexibility in teaching various levels from entry level to level 3. Delivery of the curriculum in an engaging and enthusiastic manner is essential. Support for our students is key, both academically and pastorally, working collaboratively with other departments across college. Resilience and a sense of humour is desirable for this fast paced, demanding, yet rewarding role.
The Successful Candidate
The successful candidate's knowledge, skills, experience, abilities and qualities will include:
• Experience of working in the field of health and social care
• A passion to share knowledge and skills with the next generation
• Organisational skills essential, along with excellent time management and accuracy
• A flexible and willing approach
• Teaching experience would be an advantage
