?West Herts College Group has an exciting opportunity that has arisen within the School of Engineering for a full time Curriculum Coordinator.
As well as excellent subject knowledge, the successful candidate will be required to support the Head of School to plan, deliver, organise and co-ordinate the curriculum to meet the needs of learners, employers and local communities. You will build strong relationships with both colleagues and external organisations to enhance the programmes of study, to ensure the curriculum supports learners' progression and provides knowledge and skills for their future.
You will support the Head of School to drive KPI's, ensuring challenging targets are set and achieved for recruitment, retention and success of learners.
As well as developing innovative approaches to the curriculum delivery in relation to teaching, learning and assessment.
You will ensure high levels of quality are maintained by supporting the delivery and design of curriculum to meet the guidelines set by the awarding bodies; ensuring students gain the skills needed for further and higher education, or meaningful employment.
You need to be a qualified teacher and assessor and an IQA qualification would be advantageous.
This is a full-time position, working 37 hours a week in our well-equipped facilities at Hemel and Watford campuses.
