Lecturer in Media Studies

Where you ll work: This role is based at the College s Dartford campus.

Your hours: 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday), 52 weeks per annum.

Your pay: Spine Points 32 (GBP30,280 full time equivalent) to 37 (GBP35,104 full time equivalent), rising to a ceiling of Spine Point 39 (GBP37,251 full time equivalent) with a full teaching qualification.

Working within North Kent College s Media curriculum area, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitability qualified, experienced and passionate individual to join the team as a Lecturer in Media Studies.

You ll be required to prepare, teach and assess at a variety of qualification levels, providing support and guidance to your learners as they progress through their studies.

You ll have specialist knowledge of the curriculum area, which may be enhanced by any relevant industry / professional experience, as well as a formal qualification that underpins this knowledge.

We need you to be a team player and an excellent communicator, able to maintain a proactive approach and an eye for detail whilst working to challenging deadlines.

Teaching experience, particularly within Further Education, would be advantageous but isn t essential. Likewise, although a full teaching qualification (at Level 5 or above) isn t required at this stage, you would need to secure this within 3 years of appointment.
