Hospitality Manager

We are looking for someone with catering, hospitality or event management experience to lead our cafe team and drive business opportunities. This is a new, unique opportunity to work in our caf?? at Calshot, in a beautiful location that has the potential to grow into a thriving business. This role is a brand new opportunity for someone to make the role their own and bring the potential of the caf?? to life.

Calshot Caf?? Bar is situated within Calshot Activities Centre, one of the largest activity centres in the south. The caf?? itself sits on Calshot Beach with spectacular views across the Solent and neighbours Calshot Castle. The caf?? is vibrant and busy with both members of the public using the beach and customers who use our camp site and our activities centre facilities.

As part of your role, you will grow our caf?? through leading and managing events that increase our customer base and strengthen the caf?? s reputation. Management duties will include overseeing ordering, streamlining expenditure and overseeing the training and coaching of a team of up to 7 people. You will also have the opportunity to work together with Calshot Castle and the activities centre to support the development of the caf??.

We are looking for someone to bring exciting and new ideas to life in the caf?? and across the activities centre. You will have previous experience in a hospitality environment, with team management and project management experience. A Level 3 qualification in Food Safety is desirable, but not essential as we can support you with obtaining this.

This position plays a key role in the operations of the caf??, however some home working opportunities are possible. Generally, you will work Monday-Friday, but some weekend working may be needed, for which you would receive a Sunday Enhancement.
