The role:

Activate Learning are looking to recruit two highly organised, solution focused coordinators/administrators to join our Group Learning Support (GLS) team based at any of the Surrey campuses.

Group Learning Support works with young people who face barriers to education, including learners with special educational needs and those with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). These posts provide an excellent opportunity for someone with passion and drive who is committed to enabling our students and providing the administrative support needed in order to ensure that they can achieve. The successful candidates will display an excellent customer service ethos, always be willing to go the extra mile and enjoy problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Input and track funding data through eSpirALS, ensuring information is accurate, timely and compliant with funding methodology
  • Complete administrative tasks associated with the processing of examination access arrangements such as booking assessments
  • Process data to support staff to manage the learner journey and contribute towards quality improvement activities
  • Order resources and materials required, processing purchase orders and invoices

We offer a friendly and supportive working environment, where no two days the same, staff are valued and CPD is provided.

Full time position: 37 hours a week, 08:30 - 17:00, with a 16:30 finish on a Friday.

Part time position: 25 hours ideally over 5 five days, however, negotiable for the right candidate.

What do you need to be successful?

The ideal candidate will be resilient, solutions focused and able to multitask. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be highly organised and have good attention to detail. You will also possess the ability to respond to change positively. We are looking for someone with administration experience, and previous experience of processing large amounts of data with great accuracy is desirable. A background in education and knowledge of learning difficulties and disabilities would be an advantage.
