Roles and responsibilities:
Maintenance and Facilities Technician to be based at our Leicester manufacturing facility. As a Maintenance and Facilities Technician, you will own the industrial/commercial facility maintenance activities as part of a multi-discipline and cross-functional team.
As a Maintenance and Facilities Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Installing, inspecting, testing, commissioning and maintenance of all aspect of the facilities plumbing in a safe manner
- Delivering continuous improvements from initial change management through to project completion
- Providing support to Operations & Engineering to reduce mean time between failure and improve line reliability
- Supporting manufacturing by reducing downtime through preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance and quick response to emergency fault situations
- Conducting stock checks and auditing and participating in Out of Hours Rota for emergency call outs
- Undertake reactive maintenance tasks including minor plumbing repairs, joinery and carpentry, painting and decorating and also to be trained in installation of air pressure systems to site production lines.

- Have experience in a similar role
- Be a pro-active team player who can work effectively under their own initiative and assist with achieving company goals and objectives
- Have the ability to interpret moderately complex data and system diagrams
- Be process minded with experience within an industrial maintenance role utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
