Partner with the best
As our Quality Inspector, you will be responsible to verify product and service requirements are met in accordance with customer specifications and drawings.
As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for:
- Working in accordance with Baker Hughes Druck Technical Instructions to deliver consistent, high-quality Inspection across a variety of pressure sensor components and product families
- Operating a variety of Inspection equipment, micrometres, plug gauges, and table-top measuring equipment (FARO, CMM)
- The interpretation of manufacturing drawings, customer drawings / source control drawings and written specifications
- The assessment of whether the quality of components produced within the facility meets the required standards
- Working within a team to effectively resolve quality issues and ensure your work is being completed to plan
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have NVQ Level 3 or time served engineering apprenticeship, with previous experience with aerospace components is preferable
- Have NPL Level 3 training (desirable) or equivalent
- Have minimum of 3 years' experience of visual and dimensional inspection within aerospace standards is essential.
- Have clear and demonstrated understanding of drawing interpretation, calibration, dimensional and visual inspection.
- Looking for candidates who are pro-active, self-starter and patient individuals that are capable of managing their time effectively
- Have AS13001 Supplier Self Release Training
