Business Restructuring Services - Restructuring Manager

We are looking for talented people to support the growth in our business across the restructuring spectrum, with the opportunity to support a wide range of businesses navigate through M&A, Debt and Capital Advisory, Operational Restructuring, Corporate Simplification, Distressed Financial Restructuring, and Insolvency.

You'll join a diverse team of people working across our Regional offices acting as advisors to support clients and stakeholders with various services. The breadth of experience you will gain will provide you with the opportunity to develop as rounded business advisors and work on exciting assignments with major UK, Irish and international businesses.

About the role

As a Manager, you ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive situational and industry experience, helping our clients solve complex business issues, from strategic planning and negotiation, through to execution and implementation.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Working with senior leaders in the business to oversee small project teams for bespoke clients and situations or assisting in the management and delivery of larger complex projects.

• Using your own commercial experience, sector experts across the Firm, and technology to undertake critical financial analysis of client forecasts and business plans.

• Assess and develop strategic options and engage in often complex stakeholder discussions and negotiations to support a client's strategic objective.

• Producing reports / presentations for a range of clients and stakeholders, across advisory and executory projects.

• Creating an inclusive environment which ensures different opinions are heard, our people can flourish and we get the best outcomes for our clients.

• Help to foster a culture of continual development through the continuous investment in your own and your team's personal development and technical acumen.

• Be actively involved in business development activities and networking with potential new clients and intermediaries. Identify new opportunities and innovative areas for us to support our clients.

Essential skills and experience

• Sound financial analytical and report writing skills

• Strong commercial awareness, whether from industry, the accountancy profession, or across the restructuring spectrum

• Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable communicating at all levels

• Strong desire to participate in marketing and business development

• A commitment to continued personal development and developing an inclusive culture

• Preferred - ACA/ACCA qualified

Collectively, we deal with the types of situations you hear about regularly in the news and we provide support, insight and analysis to the management, shareholders and financiers of business.
