Job Description

The Role:

To promote and sell TIC services to our UK and global market in the Consumer Product Testing market. Generating and converting enquiries to increase testing, training and membership business streams.

Main duties:

Plan and arrange client visits to develop relationships with the appropriate stakeholders as well as identify and pitch to potential new clients
Contact existing clients and cross-sell products and services we offer which may involve presentations to the clients or for more technical expertise refer to colleagues where appropriate
Engages customers by finding their needs and resolves any issues that a customer may have
Maintain contact with potential clients to continually develop sales through relationships
Follow-up incoming web enquiries where required from prospective customers
Find new and innovative ways of meeting the demands and needs of customers
Track all leads on the CRM and focus on converting these leads
Ensuring all administration is kept up to date in the CRM including the sales tracker for our weekly sales meetings, follow-ups and future appointments and calls
Achieving and exceeding monthly targets
Help Identify new areas/industries where it adds value to the business
Ensuring that your activity is recorded including visit reports and that all actions are followed up
Attend any relevant exhibitions that promote the sale of our products
Occasional Support on overdue accounts and payments

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For:

A driven, enthusiastic and confident individual with a successful track record in business-to-business sales
Must have worked in the TIC service sector, ideally experience in Consumer Product Testing and especially leather, footwear or textile industry (working with ISO 17025).
Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to quickly establish rapport and promote our product offering in a clear, concise and friendly manner, both on the phone and face to face
Motivated working to meet and exceed monthly sales targets, you will enjoy an autonomous role mainly in the field but with a couple of days in the office per week, managing your own diary consisting of new business sales activity.
Motivated by working in a goal-driven and targeted environment and achieving results
Demonstrates a self-motivated, resilient and above all positive approach
Ability to travel to client sites across the country
