My client in Egham Surry is currently in need of a Stores Person due to expansion.
To ensure an effective stores service is provided to the Company s manufacturing operation and customers
•Receiving, checking and accurately putting away items that have been delivered to stores from manufacturing areas and suppliers
•Picking and issuing stock items to manufacturing
•Preparing, packing and dispatching items for delivery
•Ensuring all items are stored safely, can easily be located and that they are protected from damage
•Ensuring that batch control and traceability of all parts is maintained in accordance with the Company s requirements
•Ensuring all stores transactions are correctly recorded and that the inventory management system is accurate
•Conducting regular stock checks
•Making local deliveries / collections as required
•Undertaking any internal / external training as required
•Responsible for ensuring that a high standard of housekeeping is maintained at all times
•To support team members with other tasks as and when required
•To help create and maintain a safe working environment and observe the published Health & Safety procedures
•To carry out any other tasks where reasonable and relevant, when required
•Some heavy lifting is required.
Experience
GCSE (or equivalent) Maths & English at grade C or above
Basic literacy skills
Experience of material handling and packing
Experience in the Aerospace industry
Computer literate
Full Driving License
Fork Lift License
Own Transport
Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team environment
Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
Personal skills

The salary for this position is paying up to GBP21k Per annum.
