Automation Engineer - the role:
You will be assisting the existing electrical engineering team, working very closely with the mechanical maintenance team, and reporting to the PM/CNV Mechanical Maintenance Manager. You will be required to provide maintenance support to production and documentation required to ensure daily products produced at minimum cost. In addition, to assist in maintaining, fixing and correcting any related problems within the plant. You will be expected to maintain and manage all control & automation systems including software and hardware throughout site to achieve engineering objectives in line with Group standards, safety guidelines and work instructions.
What we need from you?:
Must possess recognised approved apprenticeship/relevant qualifications, multi- skilled experience.
Ability to work on Siemens S5, S7, Allen Bradley PLC's developing, modify and fault finding.
Ability to work on HMI's, developing, modifying and fault finding.
Ability to work on Robots, Teaching and programming.
Hours of Work: 8am - 5pm (flexible) But will be expected to support with holiday cover on other shifts. Calls out expected (on average called out once per month.)
