Position: Administrator/ Receptionist
Location: Rowley Regis, West Midlands
Rate: GBP13.00p/h (pro rata GBP27,000 per annum)
Minimum length of Temporary Assignment: 3 months
Start Date: Immediate
Hours: 40 hours per week
Environment: Office based working for a major Civil Engineering/ Construction Projects & Maintenance business.
The company and group:
A true global business and a major player within the UK Civil Engineering & Infrastructure construction and maintenance sector. Our client manages flagship projects across the Highways, Rail, Airfields, Local Authority, Ports & Harbour sectors.
Due to a significant increase in project wins, the organisation is looking for additional administration support. A successful candidate will perform general administrative duties which may include data input, managing deliveries, working on reception, co-ordinating diaries etc..
Summary:
The administrator role will require working with fast-paced projects with all site administration and document control duties, including customer service duties.
Key Accountabilities:
Deliver tasks as directed within specified timescales and to the highest standard
Assisting with procurement
Responsible for ordering office and stationery supplies
Be a part of and take minutes of meetings if required
Manage high volumes of emails
Manage and maintain job folders within the Company Filing System
Ensure all administrative tasks are completed correctly and in a timely manner
Ability to communicate well (written and verbal) with the internal workforce, management, sub-contractors, and Client personnel
Skills and experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office packages (excel, word, etc..
Driving license required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail
Professional phone manner
Excellent problem solving and customer service skills
Ability to liaise at all levels both internally and externally
Good organisational skills
Ability to work to deadlines
Ability to follow instruction
Ability to work under own initiative
