Network Security Engineer - Outside IR35

IntaPeople are proud to be partnered with our trade credit insurance client for the acquisition of a Network Security Engineer Contractor on an initial 6-month basis. The role is outside IR35.

Network Security Engineer

Location: Cardiff/United Kingdom - Hybrid working/Remote. (Candidate must be based in the UK and have UK right to work)

Start Date: ASAP

As part of their internal audit response the client requires assistance to achieve the below

Must:

Assessment of investments into Cisco DNA and Network Segmentation

Assessment of investments into Microsoft Azure Networking

Assessment of SASE Investments for Networking and supporting services

Assessment of Network Security logging

Assessment of External Cyber Rating Scores for Networking and supporting services

Designing a plan from optimisation and improvements against the assessments

Configure and implement changes to meet agreed plans or

Raise business cases for any requirements for investment

Work with PMO and Vendor Management Raise RFI/RFP and support as required

Could:

Ensure all changes and investments can be operationally supported

Supervision of Enterprise Network Infrastructure Security

Supporting technical incident detection, response, and investigation

Supporting the business transformation strategy
