A very exciting role has become available with a new start up business based in Exeter, they are an innovative, driven and highly motivated small business who are looking for an organised, bright, enthusiastic tech savvy person with excellent digital skills.
Business Manager Role
This newly created role, reporting to the COO will support our ambitious growth plans. You will help us put in place processes and systems in order to scale our operational activities in a measured, yet entrepreneurial way. You will become involved in a number of areas of the company including our business tools and systems, starter and leaver administration and supporting the leadership to meet their objectives.
The work you will do
Sourcing, implementing and managing the tools we use across the business to ensure company productivity and efficiency
Managing and coordinating the onboarding and offboarding of team members
Finance and HR administration
Supporting and implementing various initiatives that that help us be a great place to work
Providing administrative support to the CEO and leadership team and anything that helps with the smooth running of the company!
Proactively identifying improvements to the way we do things
Requirements
To be successful in this role you will:
Have experience working in a fast paced, small/start-up, high growth tech environment
Be tech savvy with excellent digital skills and knowledge of Office 365, SharePoint and remote working tools
Be a planner , super organised, able to run multiple things concurrently with a strong attention to detail
Be a great influencer, persistent and resilient (you don t stop until you get the answer you need!)
Love proactively supporting the team to achieve their goals
Possess good communication skills, both verbally and in writing
Location & Flexible Working
You will be based at our Exeter offices, but we are happy to support hybrid working with up to 3 days from home. Most of our team work remotely but meet up regularly in London and Exeter and so you will need to be able to travel to London on a quarterly basis.
Whilst this role is a full-time role, we are very open to flexibility in schedules, just talk to us about the flexibility you prefer when you apply
