Our established Clients based in Stevenage are currently looking for highly motivated and reliable Legal Disrepair Surveyor to join their experienced team.

Duties will include:

* Work within a Repairs team

* Handleing the Disrepair caseload.

* Carry out detailed surveys

* Compile detailed reports

* Specify works as required as part of new 'Fit for human habitation act 2018

* Complete reports as required

* Issue works to DLO/Contractors as necessary

* Supervise works and carry out inspections

* Post inspect/sign off completed works

* Liaise with Client's in house Lawyer/s

* Act as expert witness and provide evidence as required

* May involve supervision of staff at times

Essential skills/qualifications:

* Experience of working with housing providers

* Minimum 5 years post qualification experience

* Relevant technical qualification e.g. MRICS (Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors) or MCIOB (Member of the Chartered Institute of Building)
