Twenty 4 Seven Education is Delighted to be working alongside this modern and inviting secondary school located in a residential area of Newport. They are looking for a passionate Welsh speaker cover supervisor to cover a variety of subjects.
The school
The school provides an educational experience that promotes the development of individuals pushing their students to be confident and fulfill their potential. The school s team of dedicated staff work to create a learning environment that encourages exploration and development academically, socially, and personally. The school strives to continue to be a learning environment that their pupils can be proud of and does so by putting their pupils in the centre of everything they do.
The role
The successful candidate will begin working as soon as possible and will work term time during the weekdays from 8:30 to 15:30. They will cover a variety of subjects and follow the curriculum set by the school.
As a cover supervisor you will:
Lead the classroom
Deliver lessons in a variety of subjects
Promote positive behavior and maintain order within the classroom
Work within the team of staff to produce lessons and activities for the class
Complete admin concerning students such as marking and setting homework
Cover Supervisors are not required to have obtained Qualified Teacher Status however applicants will be subject to a vetting process, an Enhanced DBS check, and Education Workforce Council registration.
