Role: Setter/Operator
Location: Oldbury (Moving to Willenhall)
Shift time: 6am to 1.30pm / 1.30pm to 9pm - Monday to Friday - Rotating Weekly
Pay Rate: GBP12.22 per hour
Mainstay Recruitment are currently seeking a Setter/Operator on behalf of our worldwide client based in the Oldbury area. Our client manufactures a wide range of tubular products and are looking to expand their team due to a move.
Main responsibilities of the role will include:
Set up and run components using CNC bend machines, Bend forming machines, and power presses
Ensuring all product conforms to quality standards.
Make adjustments as and when required, monitor tool life and change as required.
Instruct/train operators in the correct use of the machine/process ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Eventually training new employees to set and programme machines.
Working with engineering to develop programmes and set ups for new projects.
Carry out TPM and ensure housekeeping standards are maintained.
Candidate Requirements:
Experience setting and operating Bending machines
Experience programming machines (Desirable)
Good communication skills
Able to work alone and as part of a team
Hours of work
6am to 1.30pm / 1.30pm to 9pm - Monday to Friday - Rotating Weekly
