Theatre Nurse / Practitioner - Recovery

GBP34,703 to GBP41,643 per annum (dependant on experience)
Opportunity to earn more through covering adhoc theatre sessions

Your role
As our Recovery Theatre Practitioner, you'll be an important part of our operating theatre team, providing both clinical and technical assistance. You'll help to assess patient needs, and then implement and maintain agreed standards of care.
You will work in our busy and dynamic operating theatre, as part of a multi-disciplinary team that s setting the benchmark for clinical excellence.
We have 5 operating suites covering Cardiac, Orthopaedics, ENT and Ophthalmic, Plastics, General/Vascular, Urology and Gynaecology. And we work with surgeons who are the very best in their field.
What you ll do
Prepare patients for clinical and operative procedures in Recovery
Assist in clinical and operative procedures in Recovery
Provide immediate post-operative care
Provide recovery assistance to our consultants during all surgical procedures
What you ll bring
NMC Registered Nurse (Adult and/or Children)
Alternatively, you ll be HCPC registered with a Diploma or Degree in Health Care Studies. You might even be qualified to ODP Level 3 NVQ or ODA 752.
