UI Development Manager; React, JavaScript, Hooks, Typescript
My client is looking for a senior UI Development manager to come into an established talented team and act as a senior management lead. You will be expected to be an expert in UI development and have a real hands-on approach, contributing heavily to process improvement, tech stack, tool selection and overall strategy.
You will be directly responsible for a small team, comfortable with conducting 1:1's and supporting your developers. You will be able to work as part of the wider team of up to 10 people in an agile environment and have a good understanding of the wider overview of the current project being worked on.
This role involves working as a crucial figure in a prominent cloud communications environment with a global client. You will be working on updates and new feature implementation on an existing data analytics insight and dashboarding platform as well as a range of other existing and greenfield products.
You will be rewarded with
- Salary to GBP70,000 - GBP100,000
- 4% bonus

- Fully remote but if preferred can work from the beautiful office in Bristol
Essential Skillset/Experience:
- Extensive commercial experience (expert) in React (Hooks) and Typescript
- Desire to lead with experience mentoring more junior developers.
- Commercial experience as a tech lead/senior developer driving code improvement, working in Tandem with QA's, UI/UX designers and Back End
- Experience with being heavily involved in strategy and contributing to products and features
- Well versed in Agile environments
- Component based UI architecture
Desirable Skillset
- Experience in Redux and Redux Sagas
- Experience with MonoRepo (ie Lerna etc.)
- Experience with Node.JS
- Storybook and Chromatic experience
