Our client is a specialist contracting division of a major PLC.

Their specialism is Street lighting and smart motorway schemes across the UK.

This specific role is to work in the project office on Streetlighting schemes for the county of Suffolk.

Role

Responsible for general day to day running of relevant projects via direct liaison with project manager and supervisors.

Day to day organisation and management of operational documents and resources relating to the relevant contracts.

Ensure the continuous update of all relevant systems i.e., MUSE, Mayrise, Jira etc.

Ensure the flow of information from site to all clients / internal support services is carried out and correct.

Check information received from site is accurate, ensure as built records are maintained i.e., job sheets, pictures etc uploaded into relevant electronic folders.

Point of call for client representatives and escalate issues to supervisors / management as required.

Meet with client for progress / issues.

Produce monthly / quarterly reports for clients to review and discuss at meetings.

Check, approve and sign electrical test sheets as NICEIC Qualified supervisor.

Issue of all planning and operational documents to supervisors to ensure work teams are deployed effectively and to correct locations. Keep record of works issued / returned to ensure no works are missed.

Undertake permit applications as per instructions from supervisors along with obtaining all relevant stat drawings for works.

Management of all permit applications to ensure stop/start notices raised correctly and permits closed once works are completed.

Act as NICEIC qualified supervisor, and manage all test certs submitted by operatives, quality checks on site of electrical works, approval and sign off of electrical test certs.

Manage MIS systems to ensure that works are raised / closed / allocated correctly.

Attend client meetings as required. Deputise for Project manager in their absence.

Build and maintain professional relationships with clients to ensure that highest standard of

Experience

NICEIC Qualified supervisor

Experience of Coordination within a similar project environment, such as water, streetlighting, gas or telecoms/ comms.

The ability to pass random drugs and alcohol testing.
