Night Concierge Worker
Job type - Permanent/Part-time
Salary -GBP19,724 pro rata
Hours -20 Location-Liverpool

The role is as part of a team who provide 24hr staff cover at a service which accommodates people with a history of offending.
The Elms project provides 10 units of supported accommodation to single homeless people The project is staffed 24hrs a day by a team of 2 support workers and 4 concierge workers. The night worker role has a working pattern of 3 days on, 3 days off, working from 8pm to midnight, sleeping in from midnight to 8am and working from 8 to 9am. No formal qualifications are required. However, experience of housing/residential work and working with vulnerable people with issues around mental health, substance misuse and alcohol misuse would be advantageous. The role involves being a contact point for service users and outside agencies, monitoring the security of the building, carrying out H&S checks, reporting maintenance, dealing with incidents and escalating to on-call as required, assisting in the turn around of void properties and cleaning of the staff and communal parts of the building.
No formal qualifications are required. However, experience of housing/residential work and working with vulnerable people with issues around mental health, substance misuse and alcohol misuse would be advantageous.
Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to: •
Liaise with other agencies or professionals as required. •
Maintain written records e.g. incidents, handover, support, or risk plans.. .
Being a contact point for service users and outside agencies .
Monitoring the security of the building, carrying out H&S checks, reporting maintenance, dealing with incidents and escalating to on-call as required .
Assisting in the turn around of void properties and cleaning of the staff and communal parts of the building.
Must drive and have access to a car for work purposes Enhanced DBS check
