Accountant- Bookkeeper - ACCA Qualified (preferably).
To 45k DOE, negotiable.
Our valued client is a An Accounting and Business Management Firm with Global Offices seek Accountant- Bookkeeper to join their team in Camberley, Surrey.
They are looking to appoint an experienced Accountant- Bookkeeper to work with a broad and varied client base both UK and Globally.
The ideal candidate should have previous practice experience, and hold a valid UK Drivers licence with access to a car.
Job Description for the Accountant- Bookkeeper;
Key duties and responsibilities
Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts and other financial information
Detailed reviews of Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss and Cash Flow items
Reviewing financial schedules and accounting entries prepared by our clients
Gathering supporting documentation from our clients, their key suppliers and service providers to support the preparation of the management accounts
Liaising extensively with our clients to ensure they receive both support and direction for their daily/weekly/monthly tasks
Preparing a wide range of journal entries
Payroll and Submission of RTI
Pension Scheme
Processing bank reconciliations
Attend client meetings and conference calls/video conference calls
Support on internal administration tasks.
Filing of Corporation tax returns
Sole trader and partnership accounts preparation
Self-Assessment tax returns filing
Preparing and filing HMRC VAT returns
Managing client relationships
Understanding of the client onboarding processes regarding the KYC/AML issues.
Essential
Qualified Accountant (CIMA preferable, ACA, ACCA, AAT
Accounting: 2 years + working experience (required)
Working knowledge of Quickbooks Online
Proficient knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
Sage Payroll
Attributes
A strong Accounting background
The ability to manage time, prioritise tasks and work under tight deadlines.
Good communication skills (both written and oral)
Professional and analytical mindset (ability to identify issues, understand complex problems, draw sound conclusions)
A strong desire to learn, a willingness to share knowledge and a strong team ethic
The ability to coach and develop junior staff members as the team grows
Enthusiastic, diligent and energetic with a flexible approach in a rapidly changing environment
Must be presentable due to face to face client liaison.
