Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge University is seeking to appoint a full time, permanent Painter/Multiskilled Tradesperson to join the Maintenance team. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the post holder will provide painting and decorating and general maintenance services for the College to a high standard.

This is a permanent, full time post involving 37.5 hours per week. Some overtime and occasional weekend working may be required. Participation in the on-call service is required. The salary is based on 28 - 33 of the University’s single salary spine, currently equating to points £23,487 -£26,341 per annum. Incremental salary progression up the range is discretionary.

The successful applicant will have previous practical knowledge and skills in all aspects of painting, decorating and general maintenance along with good organisational abilities. The post requires a pro-active, hands-on approach to be responsive to the needs of the College.
