Talent-UK are recruiting on behalf of their client based in Huddersfield for an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager on a full time permanent basis.
The role comes with a competitive salary and benefits and is working 40 hours per week Monday - Friday.
The successful candidate will be a member of the Senior Management Team, will play a leading role in ensuring that growth plans and improvements in operational performance and service levels are delivered.
Reporting to the CEO, the key focus of this role is stock and inventory management; responsibility for warehouse and distribution; quality systems; facilities management and health and safety.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate a successful career to-date in these key areas and associated disciplines, as well as the management of people. Proven leadership and management skills will be needed to:
Identify areas for focus or improvement and implement the plans to achieve desired objectives.
Deliver reductions in the overall stock book and liabilities the Company has across several divisions and a combined range of 1000s of products
Lead the Operations Team with a view towards continual improvements in performance levels and customer service.
Actively seek ways to maximise the profitability and capability of the Company to meet the future demands of customers.
Excellent planning and communication skills and a high level of competence in Microsoft Excel and data analysis are essential for this role.
