Management Accountant

Niche manufacturing business situated near Beccles is looking to appoint a management accountant reporting to the Finance Manager. You will be responsible for the preparation of accurate monthly management accounts within reporting deadlines. This is a key role helping in the day to day running of the finance department and liaising with the different business unit leaders.

Your main tasks will include:

Preparation and submission of the weekly forecast

Preparation and submission of the weekly order outlook reports

Preparation of monthly Management Accounts

Upload of monthly results into the group reporting software

Preparation and submission of various KPI s

Completion of the month end stock valuation process (raw materials, finished goods & WIP)

Completion of bank reconciliations

Completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and their submission to Cognos

Responsibility for the on-going monthly update of the Sales Data Warehouse

Completion of major supplier statement reconciliations & investigation of reconciling items

Collation of the month end commentaries to support the P&L s

Assistance in the on-going development and enhancement of the ERP system

You will ideally be a newly qualified or part-qualified accountant with experience of producing management accounts including commentary. Strong IT and communication skills. Experience of a manufacturing environment will an advantage. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and progressive environment within a profitable business.
