What you'll be doing
As a/an Trainee Buyer, you will have the following accountabilities:
To work within the Procurement team as an apprentice with a view to developing a skillset in order to further a career in Procurement
Developing procurement skills in line with all group procedures as documented within the BMS and assisting in the delivery of the teams strategic objectives
Procurement of material and product knowledge
Supply Chain Management
Category methodology
Who we're looking for
You will have the following:
Stakeholder management skills
Supply chain knowledge (group agreements and products)
Negotiation and influencing
Analytical skills using Office 365 resources
Knowledge of commercial processes
The ability to adopt a pragmatic, yet disciplined approach to process compliance
