The role is accountable for the strategic Management of the Supply Chain across the Sellafield PPP.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of a Supply Chain strategy as approved by the PPP Framework Director, Head of Procurement and stakeholders within the wider business. The purpose of the role is to support and develop the Sellafield PPP model expectations with regards to Social Value and achieving the 5 Critical Success Factors
Key responsibilities include Supply Chain Development with a particular focus on local SMEs to deliver a fully managed approach to supply chain management and relationship management in line with the PPP expectations, together with the development of the category strategy alongside the Procurement Leadership Team.

What you'll be doing

As a/an Supply Chain Manager, you will have the following accountabilities:

Implement robust category plans written in collaboration and in line with the business strategy and the key stakeholders, considering the company sustainability objectives

Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders in particular the Procurement leadership team and key decision-makers in order to drive the category strategy and ensure appropriate involvement and support from Procurement in relevant sourcing activities.

Negotiate framework agreements and contracts inline with the PPP Strategy

Identify opportunities and develop long term relationships with ;local SMEs

Develop and implement the use of existing and new digital tools for reporting analytics

Develop, implement, communicate and monitor a comprehensive Supply Chain network across all categories ensure compliance from the procurement team and wider business.

Deliver a clear communications strategy for cascading news of relevant activities to staff.

Implement robust Supplier Relationship Management processes, with metrics, governance, and actions in place for continuous improvement

Who we're looking for

You will have the following:

Relevant business degree or equivalent experience (desired)

Highly results orientated (proven track record of exceeding targets)

Experienced negotiator and influencer proven track record

Experienced in category management, preferably subcontract categories

Appropriate style of people management that will deliver objectives while taking into account the skills, personalities and needs of employees.

Pragmatic yet disciplined approach to process compliance

Customer focussed

Experience of subcontract procurement and associated management processes
