Experienced in manual welding (MIG/MAG)
Able to read manufacturing drawings, welding programmes
Able to work under pressure and to light time scales
Willing and able to learn
Able to communicate effectively with internal and external stake holders
Do you?
Have CSWIP/PCN level 2 qualification in MPI - essential
Have a degree in engineering or equivalent - essential
Have 3 - 5 years of Automated Welding experience - essential
Have a good knowledge of robotics - essential
ABB Welding Training - essential
Have experience of weld strategy
Have experience of welding quality assurance
Have strong attention to detail and wiling to listen, discuss, and 'bottom out' issues
Have a flexible approach to business needs
Have the Right to Work in the UK
The Role
The purpose of the role is to take full day-to-day responsibility for a 'ABB Automatic Welding Zone & Inspection Area', ensuring the Zone is operating at the highest quality and productivity standards.
