We are currently recruiting for a fixed term Training Coordinator to induct employees on a training programme set up by North Lincolnshire Council and Ongo. This role is until March 2023.

The role is full time and working Monday to Friday.

The role will include a combination of office based and some working from home.

Salary GBP26797

Overall Purpose of Job

To work as part of the Proud to Care Recruitment team to coordinate a package of training to improve the confidence and skill level of people in North Lincolnshire with an interest to start a career in care.

To be responsible for a caseload of participants, including stakeholder management to meet the expectations of the project stakeholders and ensuring that participants successfully cover the core elements of the mandatory training package.

As part of the Ongo Recruitment team you will also be jointly responsible for contributing towards the achievement of Ongo s strategic and operational targets and overall company aims.

Main Responsibilities

Mentor participants assigned to caseload and support them to move forward towards an immediate career. This includes arranging shadowing sessions with providers and matching trainees up to potential employers from the supplier list.

Enrol participants on the training programme including completing employment start forms, payroll information, right to work checks and DBS pre-checking.

Create and deliver action plans for individual participant s actions plans and record progress, outcomes and results.

Meet own project targets in respect of the project outputs and results.

Provide appropriate information for reports and data on progress and performance of the project and attend team progress meetings as required.

Work as part of a team to ensure the monitoring system is maintained to provide the key information, statistics and reports required.

Assist in the collation and input of weekly timesheets ready for checking and submission by the PTC Project Coordinator and payroll team.

Ensure the effective sharing of information between key partners having regard to relevant legislation in respect of confidentiality and data protection.

To participate in personal support and supervision, undertake personal development training as appropriate to the post.

Undertake other duties and responsibilities appropriate to the grading of the post as considered appropriate

Essential skills or experience

Proven experience in engaging with a diverse range of people and verifiable ability to mentor, motivate and demonstrate energy and vision

Minimum PTLLS qualification or equivalent

Proven skills in teaching, learning and assessment

Ability to develop and deliver high quality action plans with participants

Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills with the ability to influence, inspire individuals.

Work as part of a team to ensure co-operation from a range of individuals and businesses.

Self-motivated with a "can do attitude, able to organise and prioritise own workload and be able to work alone, and with colleagues, without the need for close supervision.

Proven team player in the planning and organising of project delivery with the ability to work effectively under pressure, managing and responding to shifting priorities

Experience of establishing monitoring and record-keeping systems.

Ability to use a range of IT packages including word processing, spreadsheets, data bases, PowerPoint, Outlook, email and the internet

Ability to prepare reports and data on progress and performance of the programme and deliver reports in a variety of formats.

Ability to manage a training resource budget.

Good general education including numeracy, literacy and writing skills

A strong commitment towards Equality and Diversity principles

Ability to transport yourself across North Lincolnshire

Ability to work flexibly with some out of hours working including evenings and weekends where necessary
