Long Term Positions Training and Uniform provided Various shifts including every other weekend
Hays Construction and Property require Security Operatives to work on a high security site in Retford for a public sector organisation. The work will involve escorting contractors on site that work for either the maintenance department or security department or working on main detail which will include working on the gatehouse, answering the gatehouse phone and taking messages, ensuring any vehicles are checked for any prohibited items, being responsible for escorting any visitors seeing members of staff and ensuring they are signed in correctly.
This role is a fundamental part of the organisation and requires you to have good communication skills, be able to follow strict procedures and have initiative to notify senior staff if there are any problems. You will be required to have an enhanced security clearance carried out by the organisation to ensure you are able to work on site. The security clearance will require you to have photo ID such as a valid passport or photo card driving licence.
Full training is provided but it would be beneficial to have prior experience of security, using radios and handling multiple keys for one site. A uniform is also provided.
