3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer required to work near Leatherhead. As my client is in a rural location you must have your own transport to be considered.
Main Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to the IT team and end users as appropriate through training, answering questions, solving problems, and documenting procedures.
Act as an escalation point for IT Service Requests and provide 3rd line technical support to the Incident Management team, aiding teaching and learning and supporting core operations.
Modifies, install, maintain and upgrade organisation-wide computer networks
Configuration and maintenance of network routers, hubs and patch panel installations
Manage capacity and growth of systems
Support with deployment of new technologies and solutions as well as design, install, configure, maintain and perform testing of PC/server operating systems, networks and hardware
Managing and supporting VMWare virtual machines, including maintaining most recent versions and security updates
Skills required:
Proven Senior 3rd line Infrastructure skills
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent experience
Windows Server installation and support experience
Exchange Server Hybrid installation and support experience
Active Directory configuration, setup and management (Hybrid)
Office 365
MS Azure Administration
Management and creation of IT Systems documentation
Knowledge of security best practice relating to server, cloud and network infrastructure
Experience of working with virtualisation technologies such as VMWare, HyperV
Both Windows and Apple Mac
