Winner Recruitment are currently supporting a manufacturing and production company based in Kidderminster, with the recruitment of their new Steel Fabricator, this role will be on a temp to perm basis.
You will developing flat plate from engineering drawings, using calculators to obtain angles and missing dimensions.
The duties of the Steel Fabricator will include:
Developing flat plate from engineering drawings, using calculators to obtain angles and missing dimensions.
Processing steelwork (CNC profile, press, roll, punch etc) and fabricate (assemble & weld) both plate (MS/SS) and structural steelwork to standard tolerances associated to the engineering/construction industry.
Working with materials in a range of 3mm to 40mm thick
Working from bespoke drawings and CNC files/data sheets.
Understanding an accredited workshop environment to ISO 9001 & 1090 therefore quality, compliance and standards need to be achieved.
The ideal Steel Fabricator will have:
Experience within a similar role
Experience of Coded welding ability
Hours of work are 7.30am - 3.30pm, due to the company been very busy they have extended the working hours to 7.30am - 5.00pm
Hourly rate is GBP12.00 depending on experience
