Our Client is one of the leading reprocessors of domestic plastics and a founder member of the UK Plastics Pact, By transforming domestic and commercial waste and recyclables into high quality raw materials and renewable energy they are making a big contribution to improving the UK s resource efficiency.
They are recruiting Mobile Plant Operatives to join their team, working an average of 38.5 hours per week on a shift rota consisting on 2 days on, 2 nights on and 4 days off. The salary for this role will be circa GBP30,000 per year, inclusive of shift allowance, plus participation in a yearly bonus scheme, where you could earn up to 10% of your base salary.
Responsibilities:
• Driving a counterbalance forklift truck - this is preferable to have previous experience in this, however for the right candidates, full training will be given.
• Receiving, offloading and stacking plastic bales.
• Receiving and loading Silo Tankers
• Loading bales into plant machinery
• Loading finished goods onto vehicles.
• Working inside the Material Recycling Facility (MRF) and loading finished goods into bags and booking
• Moving and emptying bins from the MRF
• Using computer systems to dispatch loads
• Carrying out cleaning, basic maintenance tasks and basic fault finding.
Basic salary: GBP26,097
Shift allowance: GBP3,914
Total pay: GBP30,012
Bonus: up to 10%
