Agricultural Service Technician for Belton
Based in Belton, Grantham this supplier of high specification self-propelled sprayers, tractors and other agricultural implements is looking for a self-propelled sprayer / Agricultural Service Technician to join the busy team of Agricultural Service Technician's. As an Agricultural Service Technician with some experience of agricultural machinery or other large machinery (construction plant, HGV or armed forces) we can train you up to fill in the gaps.
Joining a small team of Agricultural Service Engineers, you will need an understanding of the agriculture / horticulture industry. Maybe you have worked as a farmer / farm assistant/ farm hand, have fixed these machines but without the qualifications. Then talk to us and we can fill in the blanks.
As an Agricultural Service Technician, you will be setting up and personalising new machinery before delivery to the customer. Making sure their new equipment is exactly right and ready to go. Agricultural Service Technician's service machinery on site, as well as on the field, (often literally). As an experienced Agricultural Service Technician you will also be responsible for:
Stripping down and fault finding
Replacing parts
Service and maintenance of machines
Attending breakdowns
Experience of welding would be advantageous but not essential

This is for a permanent Agricultural Service Technician and the working hours will be 8am to 1630pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 1530pm on a Friday. There is loads of overtime available. Agricultural Service Technician's are provided with a van to get to and from work and jobs.
Agricultural Service Technician's are rewarded with a great hourly that can be negotiated, depending on your experience. Overtime rates are T1/2 and DT
