Job Description
LGV, HGV and Light Commercial Technician. The job will entail diagnostic work, defects, MOT preparation, MOT inspections, general maintenance and servicing of a large customer base.
My client also looks after a fleet of vans, so if your a Light Commercial Technician, wanting to learn HGV - Please apply.
The Successful Applicant
Technical Qualification or proven experience of repairing and maintaining vehicles Technical / Mechanical Engineer qualifications, 2 or 3 NVQ level, IMI Level or City & Guilds.
The ability to work under pressure, actively seek solutions to problems and having the flexibility to undertake a wide range of tasks are all key attributes.
Ability to communicate effectively within your team and manage internal relationship to deliver required information in a timely clear manor.
All works must be accurate and consistent adhering to all processes and procedures.
HGV class 1 driving license (would be beneficial)
What's on offer:
Working hours: Monday to Friday 6.00 to 14.30 - 14.00 to 22.30 rotating and every other Saturday 6.00 -12.00 (paid as time and a half).
Hourly rate - GBP15.00 to GBP17.00 - hourly rate goes up by GBP1 on late shift for every hour worked.
Over 40 hours - Paid time and a half
Personal develop plan provided

Death in service 2 X basic service
22 day holiday + plus bank holidays
