Here at Watkin Jones, due to ongoing growth within the group we are looking to appoint a Compliance and Quality Assurance Manager on a full-time permanent basis. Reporting to our Head of Group Quality Compliance, the Compliance and Quality Assurance Manager will monitor the quality of construction and overall product and compliance to approved design. You will implement improvements and control measure to reduce cost post construction defects and improve construction quality.
Carrying out site visits to audit and report compliance to construction design specification, you will inform construction teams and sub-contractors of compliance and specification requirements and provide support in compiling a full quality audit record of key construction stages for each development/project. Providing reports to key stakeholders to inform/assist decisions on procurement, design etc, you will develop new processes to identify and resolve quality and compliance issues and investigate post practical completion reports of non-compliance and provide an action plan for resolution/improvement.
Due to the nature of this role it will require the candidate to travel nationwide to fulfil all elements of the role successfully.
About You
If you hold a Level 6 (Degree) qualification OR significant and substantial experience in a relevant / related field and have evidence of training and commitment to maintaining own professional status or knowledge of developments, trends and best practice in the sector, we d love to hear from you. The successful candidate will have knowledge of contract law in relation to property and disputes as well as an understanding of health and safety rules, legislation and best-practice. You will have the ability to manage time and work effectively and be able to display experience working within the construction industry.
