Are you a sales focused Commercial Manager looking for a long-term career move to Sales Director? Initially, you'll be driving the commercial sales growth for a newly established division of one the UK's most recognised Plant Hire providers. Your success (and that of your division) will ultimately lead to a Sales Director position.
BASIC SALARY: GBP50,000 - GBP60,000

LOCATION: Home Based / Hybrid role with fairly regular travel your main site at Castle Donnington as well as visits to our other sites around the UK.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Commercial Sales Manager, Commercial Manager, Contract Manager, National Account Manager - Plant Hire, Equipment Hire, Contract Hire
This is a strategic, commercial role. Using your high level of commercial acumen, as Commercial Manager you will manage and develop the commercial sales function of our newly established division. You'll be positioning a comprehensive range of new hire equipment and consumables into our largest industrial accounts, with one-off orders typically ranging from GBP10,000 - GBP250,000 and overall account spend in the GBP100,000-GBP2m arena.
As Commercial Sales Manager you'll be involved in all aspects of divisional growth including:
Increasing profitability and revenue growth through successfully winning high value Bids and Tenders
Strategically planning the sourcing of products from the market, ensuring value to the customer while maintaining profit margins
Supporting complex, high value bids and tenders
Alongside this you'll monitor sales and margin performance, providing management reports to the Board.
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Commercial Sales Manager, Commercial Manager, Contract Manager, National Account Manager - Plant Hire, Equipment Hire, Contract Hire,
You'll already have a proven track record as a Commercial Sales Manager or similar and:
Be able to demonstrate your strategic business development / growth ability
Be adept at working in partnership with internal functions - Supply Chain, Commercial Teams and Product Sales
Show us you can succeed in winning Bids & Tenders
Be used to producing high quality management reports, detailing margins, sales growth and profitability
Whether you're currently a Commercial Manager, Contracts Manager, Key Account Manager or National Accounts Manager, we would welcome applications from any market sector, especially if you have experience with MRO consumables (Maintenance, Repair and Operations), Industrial Consumables, Electrical Distributors / Wholesalers.
