United Schools Federation is looking for a caretaker, to work mainly at St Marys C. of E. Primary School, Elliotts Hill, Brixton.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable and committed person to assist in the care for the buildings and premises. An immediate start is available (on completion of satisfactory DBS check). You will be part of a team ensuring a safe, clean and well-maintained school environment for all staff and children, working under the direction of the United Schools Federations Premises Manager.

This post is a permanent position, working over five days, 52 week Contract. Afternoons/early evenings is required eg 2.30pm to 6.30pm although there may be some flexibility with the number of hours each day, as agreed with the Premises Manager. Additional hours may be available as necessary. A full driving licence is recommended for this post as you may be required to work across other schools within the United School Federation. You will have the ability to travel according to the needs of the job, with reasonable adjustments, if required.

The ability to complete physical work and be able to use tools to complete minor maintenance tasks is essential. Work will be both inside or outside dependant on the task. You will be responsible for grounds tasks; general maintenance; site security; and Health and Safety. Further details of the type of tasks are detailed in the Post Job Description. There is an additional 2 hours per week cleaning available, if desired, for shared used community hall.
