Function: Commercial - PPE Data Portal
Location: Remote
Type: Fixed Term Contract until March 2023
Salary: GBP26,000-GBP35,000

NHS Supply Chain are recruiting for a Data Administrator.
The PPE Portal is an e-commerce platform, set up in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, which delivers PPE to over 52,000 health and social care providers in England. The Portal is now the main distribution route for non-acute health and social care settings and has delivered over 6 billion items of PPE to providers over the last year.
What does a Data Administrator do at NHS Supply Chain?
The PPE Data Administrator will oversee the day-to-day management of the PPE Portal, to ensure that PPE gets to frontline staff to meet their Covid-19 needs.
Day-to-day management of the PPE Portal. This includes handling any operational issues including data input and maintaining systems, working with customers to improve the service and leading the relationships with our key external partners.
Working with internal and external public sector stakeholders to ensure the Portal is providing the best possible service for all customers (e.g. Adult Social Care Policy, NHS England and Improvement, Local Authorities and the wider PPE Programme).
Working to improve the efficiency of the end to end ordering process, including customer behaviour change and supply chain management.
Contributing to the on-going development of the Portal with internal and external stakeholders.
What skills, qualifications and qualities do I need to be successful?
Demonstrable experience gained in a Data Administration role gained within a fast-paced environment
The ability to think strategically and agile to work quickly to solve issues and improve services.
Able to demonstrate how they can manage a quality service, maintain systems and services, and successfully deliver high quality outcomes that meet the customers needs.
Able to show evidence of working closely with both technical and non-technical colleagues and to consider customers needs.
Able to demonstrate their desire to learn new skills and to work collaboratively across and beyond government.
Strong problem solving, analytical and time management skills

In Spring 2022 we moved to hybrid working; a blend of home and office working 2/3 days in the office and 2/3 days at home.
