Anglian Home Improvements are searching for an Accounts Payable Manager to join our vibrant Finance Team. The role of Accounts Payable Manager will provide timely and accurate processing of the company's accounts payable. A key stakeholder within the finance team including supplier engagement, contract negotiations and supplier account management together with overall man management and support of the accounts payable function.
What the Role is
Supervise accounts payable team including recruitment, training and development of the team
Plan work assignments and performance evaluations
Provide direction and support dealing with procedural and technical issues
Develop metric data for senior management
Deliver improvements to maintain effective procedures and controls arcoss the accounts payable function
Ensure payment cycles adhere to forecast payment levels and support treasury function
Assist in quartely reviews and prepare audit reviews
Identification of control weaknesses
What We Need
AAT Qualified, part qualified or QBE in accountancy or with accounts payable management experience
Experienced in financial accounting and strong knowledge of reporting standards
Working knowledge of VAT
Broad experience of accounts payable function
Intermediate to advanced use of Excel
You will be;
Highly organised, logical with a practical approach and able to prioritise
Ability to build, develop and maintain supportive and constructive working relationships
Approachable, good listener
Act with integrity, honesty and discretion.
Remain calm under pressure.
