Key Focus:
Audit works conducted by JFL and Contractors, ensuring the quality of Network built is adhering to company standards and meets JFL's contractual commitments for use of Physical Infrastructure Access (PIA). Always maintain the highest standards and level of professionalism whilst demonstrating a good work ethic, especially when representing Jurassic Fibre in the public eye. Recording all defects in the Network and collate together for the Senior PIA Compliance Engineer to manage with the Contractors. Ensure JFL records are up-to-date and when necessary, liaising with the Geographic Information System (GIS) Engineers when required. Being respectful of third party network and reporting any safety or quality issues when appropriate. Working collaboratively with the PIA Manager, Seniors and Co-ordinators to ensure deadlines are met with all the necessary evidence and data from site visits.
Note that this role involves field work, which will include working outdoors, standing for long periods and often, walking long distances.

Job Description:
Key duties and responsibilities will include:
- Auditing JFL Network housed within third party infrastructure, and infrastructure owned by JFL, ensuring the build quality is to standard
- Inspecting network records to ensure accuracy
- Reporting any mapping or data discrepancies to the GIS Engineers or PIA Co-ordinators, depending on the type of mapping issue
- Working collaboratively with the PIA Co-ordinators to manage deadlines and ensure data accuracy
- Meeting deadlines and KPIs

Person Spec:
Experience:
- Fibre Network design, construction and/or installation (essential)
- Overhead and underground knowledge of BT (essential)
- Network quality control (QC)
- FFTX service delivery with telecommunications
- Ability to work independently and work as part of a team
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) skills
- Confident and proficient with technology
- Interest in FTTP would be desirable
- Knowledge of telecommunications jargon
- Full valid driving license
- GCSE Maths & English passes
Qualifications:
- SA001 Overhead Safety (Desirable)
- SA002 Underground Safety (Desirable)
- O1 Signing, guarding a lighting (Street Works)
- SA008 (N22 or E1, N27) Overhead cable install (Desirable)
- SA009 (O8) PIA Pole Stepping on Congested Pole
- IPAF 1B Static Boom
