Your new role

PROJECT GOVERNANCE
. Ensuring all OPAL projects adhere to our baseline OPAL governance framework and that we have a visible and accessible guide for stakeholders to refer to.
. Ensure our OPAL affected stakeholders understand the need for the governance framework and why it is important to them, OPAL and the Spirax Business as a whole.
. Working with Project Teams to "assist" them with preparations for the various Quality gates of the Project Lifecycle.
. Maintain oversight of how Projects are tracking through the governance stages and be able to identify potential risks across the Portfolio based on the inflight project health positions.
. Ensure we have an auditable view of Project Milestone Changes showing evidence of justification, impact assessment and the outcome.
. Work closely with the OPAL PMO Analyst to ensure reporting and dashboard updates are timely so as to help you identify potential risks for inflight projects within the portfolio.
. Work closely with the Release & Environments Manager to ensure alignment/synergy between the inflight Project Portfolio and the OPAL Environment Plan.
. Work closely with the Release & Environments Manager to provide governance support and ensure the monthly Value releases maintain their cadence of delivery in a controlled and well governed fashion.
. Engage regularly with the OPAL PMO Manager to understand and be aware of the upstream funnel of projects that are proposed for the OPAL Portfolio Plan.

What you'll need to succeed

. Minimum 3 years proven experience in a PMO Software Delivery environment;
. Awareness of Waterfall and agile delivery methods;
. Awareness of cultural and logistical challenges working within a Global Business;
. Have worked with multiple teams in a governance capacity to obtain the necessary outcomes;
. Have worked within Portfolio environments with multiple projects running concurrently;
. Have engaged with a mixture of parties from Partners and Delivery Teams to C-Suite Management;
